Rapper Nicki Minaj and singer Rihanna are recording songs for a Universal digital-only album that will raise funds for the victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan.“Let's continue to keep the people of Japan in our prayers! We are all heartbroken for u,” Rihanna Tweeted following news of the earthquake.The digital album will be released through Universal Music Group and will also feature tracks from Justin Bieber, U2, Bon Jovi, and possibly Lady Gaga.“We are doing it only digitally because it is faster, and this will be a worldwide release. The plan is to have it available later this week,” a spokesperson for the Japanese Red Cross explained.
Darius Harrison, known as Deezle, producer behind the single "Lollipop" whom also can be seen in the video- he did the drum programming is claiming he was not paid for his production work on the album in which he also produced "Whip It," "Prostitute 2," and "Action," as well as "Mrs. Officer" and "Let the Beat Build" -- all songs on "Tha Carter III" which sold more than 6 million copies.Deezle claims in his lawsuit against Young Money Entertainment and Cash Money Records ... album sales that he was involved in producing grossed more than $70 million and wants 20 million for his work.
